Hwy 100 to close between Edina, Golden Valley until June 13

The northbound lanes of Highway 100 between Edina, Minn. and Golden Valley will be closed this weekend as crews repair the pavement on the road and ramps on that section of the highway. The construction is part of a $16.7 million pavement preservation project that began in 2015 and is scheduled to be completed in August 2016.

Northbound Highway 100 between W 50th Street and W 44th Street is currently reduced to one lane and starting at 10 p.m. on Friday June 10, northbound Highway 100 between Highway 62 and I-394 will close completely. The highway and associated ramps will reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday.

During the closures, crews will be repairing the pavement on the road, ramps and bridges along the highway, as well as installing concrete median barriers in place of the existing median guardrails.
