(KMSP) - It’s another weekend of road construction roulette and this time it’s Interstate 35E and Highway 100 that will be causing your traffic headaches.
HIGHWAY 100 CLOSURE: At 10 p.m. Friday June 24, both directions of Highway 100 between Interstate 394 and Highway 62 will close. The highway will reopen to two lanes in each direction by 5 a.m. Monday, June 27. Traffic will be detoured to 394, Highway 169 and Highway 62 or to 394, 35W and Highway 62 during the closure.
35E CLOSURE: Southbound Interstate 35E in St. Paul will be reduced to a single lane at 5 a.m. Saturday, June 25. The ramp to eastbound Interstate 94 and southbound Highway 52 will be closed.
Lane closures on southbound I-35E will begin at Maryland Avenue, and a single lane will be open between University Avenue and I-94. During the ramp closure, southbound 35E will be detoured to eastbound Highway 36 and southbound Interstate 694.
Crews are striping and installing curbs at the south end of the 35E/Cayuga project. The southbound 35E lanes and ramp are expected to reopen by 7 p.m., Sunday, June 26.
