Vintage baseball meets town ball in Forest Lake, Minn.

- A group is bringing baseball back to its origins by playing baseball with the rules from 1860.

The St. Croix Baseball Club took on the Forest Lake Brewers in an exhibition vintage baseball game on Saturday.
That means playing ball bare-handed - no gloves. They weren't invented until about a decade later.

The game features different nuances to the game. For example, a ball caught on the first bounce is an out.
Players said playing "America's Pastime" was the best way to celebrate their Fourth of July weekend.
