The Richard Pitino Show, Episode 5

Despite the Super Bowl being in town and all the extra attention it's garnering the Twin Cities, head coach Richard Pitino and the Gopher basketball team are keeping their heads down and focusing as they head into the final stretch of the season.

Minnesota is coming off a four-game losing streak, though with several key losses over the last few weeks due to injuries and suspensions Pitino says even small mistakes can snowball into seemingly irredeemable losses.

"The more bodies you have, the more talent you have, you can make a few mistakes and bounce back," he said. "We can't do that right now ... but I think we're just starting to learn how to play with this new team."

Pitino joined Fox 9's Hobie Artigue and KFAN's Justin Gaard to talk about his hopes for the rest of the year and what things the Gophers have to do as they look ahead to their final seven games of the regular season.
