Vikings receiver, Stefon Diggs has been named the NFC offensive player of the week after his performance in Sunday’s game against the Packers.

Diggs led the NFL with 182 receiving yards on nine receptions in the victory over the Packers.

After two weeks, Diggs leads the NFL with 285 receiving yards on 16 catches. He’s the third Vikings with back-to-back 100-yard receiving games in weeks one and two and the first since Chris Carter in 1997.

Gene Washington is the only receiver in Vikings history to have more receiving yards in the first two games of a season than Diggs. Washington had 324 receiving yards in 1969.

Randy Moss is the only player to get more receiving yards against the Packers. Moss posted 190 receiving yards against the Packers on October 5, 1998.

Diggs was selected in the fifth-round of the 2015 NFL draft.

Diggs is the ninth player to earn NFC honors under head coach Mike Zimmer.
