(KMSP) - It looks like the Minnesota Vikings' three free agent quarterbacks will all have new teams in 2018. The New York Jets are working on a deal for Teddy Bridgewater, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The Vikings drafted Bridgewater with the 32nd overall pick in 2014. He became a full-time starter in 2015, leading the team to the NFC North title that year.
Bridgewater missed all of the 2016 season after tearing his ACL and dislocating his knee. After a long recovery, he returned to the field midway through the 2017 season and served as the backup for Case Keenum.
The Vikings have reportedly offered quarterback Kirk Cousins a three-year, $86 million deal. Reports say Keenum will sign with the Denver Broncos, while Sam Bradford, who replaced Bridgewater, will sign with the Arizona Cardinals.
VIKINGS TO OFFER KIRK COUSINS 3-YEAR DEAL: Kirk Cousins will visit the Minnesota Vikings first in his search for a new team. The Vikings have offered the free agent quarterback a three-year, $86 million deal, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. According to Rapoport, Cousins will have dinner with Vikings coaches and other personnel Wednesday night, then visit the team's new facility in Eagan on Thursday.
According to Rapoport, “it is not over…But if the visit goes well, he is likely to sign there.” Schefter reports Cousins intends to sign a three-year, fully guaranteed contract with the Vikings on Thursday.
SAM BRADFORD TO ARIZONA: Sam Bradford intends to sign with the Arizona Cardinals when free agency opens on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Schefter says the Cardinals will offer Bradford to a one-year deal worth $20 million, including $15 million guaranteed, and an option year at $20 million.
CASE KEENUM TO DENVER: Case Keenum plans to sign with the Denver Broncos, ESPN reported early Tuesday. Keenum led the Vikings to the NFC Championship Game last season with the last-second, game-winning touchdown pass to Stefon Diggs.
