No. 1 St. Cloud State looking to make Frozen Faceoff

- St. Cloud State University is No. 1 in the nation for college hockey and are rolling right now, closing out the regular season with a win and a tie against North Dakota this past weekend.

The headliner for the Huskies is Ryan Poehling. He and his borthers led Lakeville North to a state championship and he was drafted in the first round to the Montreal Canadiens. He may be the key to this team going deep in the NCAA tournament.

Next week, the Huskies start postseason play with the NCHC playoffs. They will face the Miami Redhawks, who finished last in the regular season, as they look to move on to the Frozen Faceoff at the Xcel Energy Center next week

You can watch the playoff series on Fox 9+ on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday at 7 p.m. A possible third game will air on Sunday at 7 p.m.
