Hey Teddy, Skolbadiah has a birthday song for you

Hey Teddy, hey Teddy, it’s your birthday! Obadiah Gamble is back with another music video for Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. Obadiah, aka Skolbadiah, found fame in Vikings territory with his “Hey Teddy” video that invited Bridgewater to his own 7th birthday party.

Bridgewater couldn’t make the party, but surprised Obadiah with a home visit to play catch and have some birthday cake. Now, Obadiah is returning the favor with a happy birthday wish to Bridgewater, with the help of some friends at Children's Minnesota's St. Paul campus.

Bridgewater is out for the season after suffering a dislocated knee and torn ACL during a preseason practice. The now 24-year-old faces a long road of rehabilitation, but is expected to make a full recovery.

"In order to have a testimony, you have to have a test,” Bridgewater said in a statement after his injury. “I come from amazing DNA, I watched my mom fight and win against breast cancer. We will, as a team, attack my rehab with the same vigor and energy. My faith is strong, my faith is unwavering and my vision is clear. My purpose will not be denied."

The Vikings are 5-3 this season and in first place in the NFC North. The team has lost 3 consecutive games to the Eagles, Bears and Lions, but look to get back on track at home vs Washington this Sunday (noon on Fox 9).
