MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Sunday afternoon former Vikings' wide receiver Ahmad Rashad joined the likes of Randy Moss, Matt Blair and Bud Grant, among others, in the Vikings Ring of Honor.
It's a great honor for the Minnesota great, who notched nearly 7,000 receiving yards in his 10-year NFL career, including seven seasons with the VIkings.
"I was 100 percent accepted when I got here to Minnesota," he said. "And the entire time I played here I just had a love affair with the city, with this team, with the north, with everything about it."
Rashad's friend and former NBA superstar Michael Jordan even made the trip up to Minneapolis to see the halftime ceremony.
