During the Timberwolves 113-105 victory in Denver last night, rookie Andrew Wiggins offered up what was probably the best performance of his young NBA career.
This year's top draft selection scored 31 points on just 17 shots to go along with nine rebounds, four assists, and three blocks. He put up a team-best +13 plus-minus during his 40 minutes on the floor.
Highlights from Wiggy's big night were compiled into nice highlight package by NBA.com, which you can watch at the top of this post.
Though Wiggins was named Western Conference Rookie of the Month in both November and December, he's taken a huge step forward in January, averaging 22 points on better than 50 percent shooting.
The Wolves have had many high draft picks over the years, but they've never had the NBA Rookie of the Year on the roster. That could change this year if Wiggins, just 19 years old, keeps it up.
