Woodbury police seek suspects in hotel robberies

Police in Woodbury, Minnesota, are asking for the public's help in finding suspects involved in multiple hotel robberies in the area.

Since late July, there have been five armed robberies of hotels, each involving similar suspect description and interaction. According to police, the suspects enter during the early morning hours and asks the clerk if they have any rooms available. During the interaction, one of the suspects pulls a gun out of his jacket.

According to Detective Jeremy Miller, the interactions with the hotel staff have become increasingly violent.

One suspect is described as a black male with dreadlocks, 5'10''-6' in his early 20s, medium build and last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black pants.

The other suspect is described as a black male, about 5'7'', 140 pounds, 20-30 years old and last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and red sweatpants.

The incidents occurred in the following locations:

Thursday Aug. 24 at 4 a.m. at Hampton Inn, Woodbury

Sunday Aug. 13 at midnight at Budget Host Hotel, North Branch

Saturday Aug. 12 at 4:30 a.m. at AmericInn, Inver Grove Heights

Wednesday Aug. 2 at 5 a.m. at Days Inn, Red Wing 

Saturday July 29 at 11 p.m. at Nichols Inn, Hastings
