Woman killed, young driver injured in 2-vehicle accident

BLUE EARTH COUNTY, Minn. (KMSP) - A 27-year-old woman is dead and a young motorist is in the hospital following a two-vehicle collision in southern Minnesota.

The crash happened on Wednesday around 5:50 p.m. along County Road 10, near Good Thunder.

Allison Drouilhet, of Good Thunder, was killed and the other motorist, who the State Patrol says is a juvenile male, was transported to the Mayo hospital in Mankato.

According to the State Patrol, the young motorist was driving a Chevy pickup and ran through a stop sign at County Road 10 and struck the Nissan driven by Drouilhet.

The young motorist is expected to survive his injuries.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Allison's family with funeral costs.

According to the GoFundMe page, Allison was on her way home from work to her husband and newborn daughter Lillian.
