Woman dies in Stearns County crash Friday
STEARNS CO., Minn. (KMSP) - A woman has died after a fatal broadside crash in Stearns County Friday evening.
Officers responded to a crash on Highway 15 and County Road 1 shortly before 7 p.m. where a Chevy Malibu was heading north on Highway 15 when it struck a light pole. A GMC Sierra pickup was stopped for a red light on County Road 1 when it was struck by the Chevy.
The driver of the Chevy, 33-year-old Sheena Grimstad of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, died in the crash.
The other driver’s condition is not documented.
The Sartell police and fire departments assisted in the crash along with Sauk Rapids police, St. Cloud police and Gold Cross Ambulance.
