Woman arrested in connection to south Mpls death investigation

A woman has been arrested in connection to a death investigation in south Minneapolis, according to Minneapolis police. 

Officers responded to a report around 2:45 p.m. of an unconscious man at home in the 5700 block of 33rd Avenue South. A woman made the call to 911.

When police arrived the man was not breathing and didn't have a pulse. They tried to revive him with CPR. Paramedics took him to Hennepin County Medical Center where he later died.

Police arrested a woman, who is being interviewed by the homicide investigators.

The victim and the suspect knew each other. Police are not searching for other suspects at this time.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office will identify the victim and determine the cause of death.
