WEEKEND SNOW TOTALS: 4 to 7 inches in Twin Cities

Nearly midway through December and the metro finally gets some good snow that will stick around a while.  In the biggest snow storm of the season, much of the metro gets 4 to 7 inches of snow as Mother Nature tries to make up for the lackluster start to snow season. 

Parts of southern Minnesota received up to 10 inches of powdery fresh snow with generally under a couple inches across cabin country. 

Whatever snow is around now isn’t going anywhere anytime soon as temperatures will fall back to frigid levels through the workweek ahead…
