Warrant: Mankato body shop paid employees in methamphetamine

- A Mankato, Minn. auto body shop allegedly paid employees a bonus in methamphetamine, the Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force discovered during an April 20 search warrant.

Just after midnight, agents executed narcotics search warrant at Clear Choice Auto Body Repair at 1676 Star Street after an employee told them the owner, Jesse Michael Seifert, 40, his girlfriend Nancy Jean Loehlein, 39, had been paying them in meth.

The employee alerted agents to a meeting that evening, where Loehlein gave each employee about ½ a gram as a bonus while Seifert was present. Agents also found used syringes and a digital scale with meth residue.

Seifert was arrested before the warrant for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation and booked at the Blue Earth County Jail. The case is under investigation and more charges are pending.
