A new exhibit at the Walker Art Center highlights Cuban art rarely seen in the United States. The exhibit features over 60 Cuban artists and over 100-pieces of art.

“I think this exhibition opens a dialogue that there are so many other issues that happened or are happening in Cuba,” said curatorial fellow Fabian Leyva-Barragan.

Pieces included in the exhibit includes art from the late 1950’s, when Fidel Castro rose to power, as well as contemporary pieces.

The exhibition will remain at the Walker until March.
