Vikings prepare for crucial Monday night match-up in Seattle

With four games left to play in the regular season, Monday’s matchup in Seattle is taking the tone of a postseason battle.

If the season were to end today, the Seahawks and Vikings would earn each of the two wild card spots in the NFC playoff picture.

Just a half game separates the two in the standings and while it’ll be a dog fight come Monday, the two clubs still have a healthy respect for each other, too.

While the “Legion of Boom” (a nickname for the Seahawks’ secondary of old) is no longer a regular staple, the current secondary is still making its presence felt, making it a great challenge for the Vikings offense.

The Vikings admit that their inconsistency has led to them teetering on the edges of the playoff picture, but in the final quarter of the season, the players understand the time to play their best football begins now.

Hear from Kirk Cousins, Mike Zimmer and Mackensie Alexander about the keys to victory for the team Monday night.
