(FOX 9) - The Goodhue County Sheriff's Office is reminding drivers to move over after a vehicle struck a squad car during the recent snowstorm.
Thursday, a mix of snow and sleet made travel difficult throughout much of Minnesota. In Goodhue County, Deputy Jim Goham and K-9 Valor were assisting Minnesota State Patrol with crashes on Highway 52.
The two were inside the squad car when a vehicle hit them behind.
Goham and Valor were both checked for injuries, but they are expected to be okay.
According to the Ted Foss Move Over law, on a road with two or more lanes going the same direction, drivers must move over one full lane from stopped emergency vehicles that have their flashing lights on.
