Suspect who hit US Marshal with car arrested in Minneapolis

The U.S. Marshals Service has confirmed the suspect who struck and injured a marshal with his car on Thursday in Minneapolis has been arrested. The incident occurred near the intersection of South 2nd Street and 14th Avenue S.

A source told Fox 9 several U.S. Marshals were attempted to serve a warrant. They approached person in a car and the person backed up their car into one of the marshals, injuring them. The suspect was arrested Friday morning near Powderhorn Park.

The injured marshal has been released from the hospital, has no broken bones, and should be back to work next week.
