Crews prep U.S. Bank Stadium field for SB52

It's crunch time at U.S. Bank Stadium as the NFL gets the field ready for Super Bowl 52.

“We still have a long way to go, but have gotten a lot done to this point,” said Erik Finkelstein, director of NFL events.

Most of the changes are little things, but there are a lot of them, including workers adding desktops to a section of upper deck seats. The NFL also built about 15 additional broadcast booths in the process of covering up all the Vikings logos with Super Bowl signage.

On Monday, crews painted team names in the end-zones. Those areas, and the center of the field with the NFL logo, were the only parts of the turf that were replaced.
