Two men dead after separate car crashes over the weekend

Two Twin Cities' men are dead after separate metro-area car accidents over the weekend, according to a release.

One man, 33-year-old Yasin Dualeh, was struck by a car while crossing an intersection near Eighth Street and Hennepin Avenue in downtown Minneapolis, eventually dying of blunt force injuries, according to the release.

Minneapolis police are investigating the incident. 

Another crash on Highway 169 in Plymouth, Minn., killed 29-year-old Corcoran native Christopher La Belle, officials said. He was a passenger in the car.

Minnesota State Patrol are looking into the crash further.
