Twins host Strike Out Stroke event at Target Field

May is stroke awareness month and the Minnesota Twins and as a great partner with the Minnesota Stroke Association, the team hosted a Strike Out Stroke event.

Wednesday night was about honoring stroke survivors and their families. Seven-year-old Kellan Mueller from Waconia threw out the first pitch at the game. Kellan suffered a pre-natal stroke, but doesn't let any of his disabilities stop him.

Join Fox 9’s Tim Blotz and Kelcey Carlson on Saturday for the annual Strides for Stroke walk. They will be gathering at Long Lake Regional Park in New Brighton. The pre-walk ceremony begins at 9:40 p.m. Hundreds of people will be walking together to show the power of community for this common cause.
