TOP TEACHER: Choir Director Lin Warren of Hastings High School

HASTINGS, Minn. (KMSP) - Fox 9 is honoring Top Teachers as the school year comes to a close.

Choir Director Lin Warren from Hastings High School is the latest recipient of the award

Cody Arndtson, a former student, nominated Warren for the recognition, calling him "an amazing man who cares about every one of his students."

"He understands the art of making music can be the one thing in a person’s life that makes a difference no matter how large or small," wrote Arndtson.

Warren leads students in multiple choirs and mentors students through solo and ensemble competitions.

As a Fox 9 Top Teacher, Warren will receive $900 from Royal Credit Union for classroom supplies, a Subway sandwich party for 50 friends and a Top Teacher award.
