TMZ: Brad Pitt was 'out of control' at Minnesota airport

Actor Brad Pitt is reportedly under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services for allegedly getting verbally abusive and physical with his children.

The child abuse allegations against Brad Pitt have been referred to the FBI, according to TMZ. The celebrity gossip website previously reported that the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services received an anonymous call that Pitt was intoxicated on a private jet last week and became physically and verbally abusive to his children.

TMZ says the private flight landed on Wednesday, Sept. 14 just before 8 p.m. at an airport in Minnesota. Witnesses said Pitt was "out of control" on the tarmac and even tried to leave in a fuel truck.

Child and family services has already interviewed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie separately, and they will also interview the children. Pitt denies committing any sort of abuse, sources told TMZ.

The Koochiching County Sheriff confirmed to Fox 9 Pitt and Jolie were at the Falls International Airport in International Falls on Sept. 14.

According to FlightAware, the couple's private jet landed at the airport from Nice, France and was on the ground for about an hour before continuing to Burbank, California.

A person who works at Falls International Airport told Fox 9 a Delta crew had mentioned seeing Brad Pitt at the airport on September 14. The worker also mentioned Brad Pitt passed through the airport “occasionally.”

A representative of the airport has not returned Fox 9’s request for information; the person answering the phone said the airport has been inundated with “millions” of inquiries.
