Waseca PD seeking car, driver spotted before Tink Larson Field fire

- The Waseca Police Department is trying to identify and interview the person whose car was spotted near Tink Larson Field on Wednesday, April 6 between 7:30 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. The baseball field was destroyed by a fire that was reported at 8 p.m. that evening.

The car was parked along 4th Street NE near the steps that lead down to the concession stand and ticket booth. It is described as a clean, darker-colored, medium-sized car. A man was also seen walking down the steps from the street to the stadium.

“It is important for the public to know that we are only attempting to identify and interview this person,” Waseca police said. “We are asking for the driver to come forward. If we are able to speak to them they may have information that would assist the State Fire Marshal in making a final determination about the cause of the fire.”

Anyone with information about the identity of this particular vehicle and its driver or other information relevant to this case should call the Waseca Police Department at 507-835-9720.
