Thousands pack U.S. Bank Stadium for first concert

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Country music star Luke Bryan had the honor of playing the first concert at U.S. Bank Stadium. 

Expectations could not have been higher as thousands of fans and thousands more cowboy boots filled the stadium.

For many, it would be their first time inside the brand new stadium and more importantly their first time finding parking.

With the exception of Chicago Avenue, roads outside of U.S. Bank stayed open and mostly congestion free.

Following Luke Bryan will be Metallica on Saturday evening, giving Minnesota music fans their first taste of U.S. Bank Stadium.
