Texas police investigate bag of cocaine in Nature Valley granola bar

There is an ongoing investigation into how a small packet of cocaine ended up in a wrapped Nature Valley granola bar. Golden Valley, Minn.-based General Mills learned of the incident in March and referred it to police in San Antonio, Texas.

"We are confident this did not happen in our facility," General Mills said in a statement.

Cynthia Rodriguez told a San Antonio news station the bag of cocaine had fallen out of the wrapped bar she was eating. San Antonio police are examining the bag of cocaine and the original box of granola bars to determine how the drugs got into the wrapped bar.

The bag with the drugs has a green wrapper with dollar signs.
