News broke last week that Target is planning "several thousand" layoffs, primarily among corporate employees at the company's Twin Cities headquarters, but one question officials left unanswered was, when?
Unconfirmed reports are circulating that Monday and Tuesday will be "tough days" for Target's corporate workforce, so we reached out to a company official to get the official word.

Spokesperson Molly Snyder tells us she has nothing to share today, adding that "out of respect for the team, our commitment is that we will communicate with them first."
But Snyder's comments certainly don't rule out the possibility that today is a black Monday of sorts for downtown Minneapolis's largest employer, as this tweet from a Target employee indicates:
