State Patrol investigating fatal crash involving a school bus in Wabasha County, Minn.

WABASHA COUNTY, Minn. (KMSP) - The State Patrol is investigating a fatal accident involving a school bus.
According to the State Patrol, the crash happened just before 6 a.m. along highway 61 near Minnieska. A Chrysler van and a school bus collided head-on, causing a vehicle fire. The driver of the van was killed and has been identified as 27-year-old Travis Jacobson of Winona, Minnesota.
The bus driver has been identified as 59-year-old Vernon Andrews of Ellsworth, Wisconsin and he is in serious condition as St. Mary's hospital.
No students were on the bus at the time.
Crews closed down highway 61 for about four hours.
