St. Cloud woman fatally hit after exiting vehicle on I-94

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KMSP) - A woman from St. Cloud is dead after being hit by a truck on I-94 in Minneapolis early Saturday morning.
It happened at 12:16 a.m. along the eastbound lane of I-94 and Nicollet Avenue.
The State Patrol says 35-year-old Shawna Anthony of St. Cloud was traveling as a passenger when the vehicle she was in was pulled over, that’s when she exited the vehicle and was struck by a pickup truck. It’s unclear why she exited the vehicle.
31-year-old Nicholas Pederson was driving the pickup truck.
