St. Cloud bomb threat suspect arrested

St. Cloud police have arrested a suspect wanted for multiple bomb threats made on Saturday in an attempt to get revenge against an ex-girlfriend. Matthew John Hull, 31, was taken into custody in the Princeton, Minn. area on Sunday and booked into the Stearns County Jail on 4 potential counts of threats of violence, one count of stalking, and one count of domestic assault.

Hull confessed to police that he made the false bomb threat calls in effort to get revenge against an ex-girlfriend who has a restraining order against him.

In the calls made to Walmart, St. Cloud Library, Cash Wise East. and St. Cloud Hospital, Hull attempted to disguise his voice as a woman and would leave the name of his ex-girlfriend as the person making the bomb threat.
