Somali community hosts appreciation event at Safari Restaurant

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Several young members of the metro area's Somali community held an appreciation event Saturday in Minneapolis.

The group headed to Safari Restaurant to dance and honor the young people in the Let It Go program, dedicated to shaping the community's youth.

Attendees also honored businesses and other contributions to the community.
