'Snow artist' turns Target Field into giant canvas

A unique artist has turned Target Field into a giant canvas.

Simon Beck is considered the world’s first and most famous “snow artist.” He took advantage of the fresh snow at the Minnesota Twins ballpark this week and created an interesting design on the infield.

A lot of his work takes up to 12 hours to complete and he ends up walking more than 20 miles wearing snowshoes.

Beck created his latest masterpiece for the Great Northern, a two week-long festival that celebrates the best of winter in the Twin Cities.
