Six people shot outside downtown Minneapolis bar

- Six people were shot outside a bar in Downtown Minneapolis early Saturday morning.

The shooting occurred just after 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of 5th Street and 1st Avenue near the Target Center.
Police said the incident started with a fight between a large group of people.

Minneapolis Police Department spokesperson John Elder said a large group of people were fighting when the incident turned violent.

"That disagreement erupted into gunfire,” Elder said. “We had at least 3 people shooting at each other."
Witnesses told Fox 9 they heard between 16 and 20 shots fired.

All six victims are expected to live, according to police. Three people are in custody and two guns were recovered at the scene.
