Search still on for suspect who shot, killed Morrison Co. hunter

Authorities are still trying to determine who shot and killed a hunter last November on a wooded property in Belle Prairie Township, east of Little Falls, Minnesota.

Terrance “Terry” Brisk was found dead of a gunshot wound on a wooded property northwest of the intersection of Hawthorne Road and Jewel Road on Nov. 7, 2016. Officials believe he was shot sometime between 2:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Starting next week, there will be a heavier police presence in the area of Belle Plaine Township where Brisk was found. Investigators will be canvassing the property looking for anything that may pertain to the homicide investigation.

Officials initially believed whoever shot Brisk may not have realized what had happened, but they have since ruled his death a homicide. A rifle Brisk was known to carry while hunting is still missing.

There is a $30,000 reward for anyone with information that leads to the identification of the person who shot and killed Brisk.
