One person was taken to the hospital with a minor injury after a scaffolding collapse at a work site in downtown Minneapolis. According to the Minneapolis Fire Department, six workers were on the scaffolding when it fell into a vacant lot.

The collapse was reported around 10 a.m. at 202 Washington Avenue N. in the North Loop. The work site was not connected to any Super Bowl experiences.

The work was part of building renovation that started about a month ago. Other workers on site suspected wind played a factor in the collapse.
