Rescue team saves Minneapolis man pinned by ATV in northern MN

Members of the St. Louis County Volunteer rescue squad saved a 83-year-old Minneapolis man who got pinned by his ATV near Cook, Minnesota, according to St. Louis County Sheriff's Office.

Wednesday afternoon, John Botzet left his hunting shack to check deer stands.

Just after 8 p.m. a caller in Beatty Township reported he still hadn't returned and the rescue squad came in to search the area.

Nearly two hours later, the squad found Botzet had rolled his ATV down a steep hill and pinned his leg under the vehicle.

Crews took Botzet to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
