RECALL: 360,000 Thanos Infinity Gauntlet oven mitts due to burn hazard
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KMSP) - Loot Crate is recalling 360,000 oven mitts designed to look like the Infinity Gauntlet from Marvel comics due to a burn hazard.
The company has received 241 reports of burn injuries. In some cases the oven mitt has melted and burned the user's skin.
The Thanos Infinity Gauntlet went out to Loot Crate subscribers in May's "Power" theme package. In the Marvel comics and movies, super villain Thanos wears the Infinity Gauntlet encrusted with gems. The Gauntlet gives him great power and allows him to do whatever he wants.
Customers are urged to stop using the oven mitt and contact Loot Crate to receive a replacement item of equal or lesser value.
