Prior Lake High School students sleep in boxes for disaster relief fundraiser

A group of students at Prior Lake High School is raising awareness for a charity like no other.

Seventeen students slept in cardboard boxes and disaster relief tents to fundraise for a charity, ShelterBox, which provides emergency shelter and supplies to those impacted by disasters and conflict.

This is the group's second annual sleep out.

ShelterBox recently provided relief in Columbia, Peru, Niger, Chad, Cameroon, Mozambique, Somaliland, Syria and Iraq.

The group hopes to raise more than $5000.
