Police: White Lake couple may have used own kids in child porn

A White Lake couple is accused of sending child pornography to each other. Federal investigators believe that Colin and Anngela Boyle may have even used their own children in child porn videos.

Neighbors are stunned at the news. The couple who lived in their White Lake mobile home is accused of producing, distributing and receiving child pornography. The Feds arrested Colin Boyle, 29, and his wife Anngela, 25.

"This is shocking that it is happening right here in my neighborhood,” said neighbor Brandy Jarrell. "The world is a crazy, messed up place. That is why I keep my kids close."

The federal complaint accuses Colin and Anngela Boyle of sending child porn to each other by cell phone.  Both are charged with receiving and possessing child pornography as well as producing and distributing. Anngela told investigators.

Anngela told investigators child porn is the only thing that sexually excites him, and the purpose of the transmission of the child porn between the couple is for his sexual gratification, the report said.

The couple has two children, a 3-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl. Investigators believe their own children may be in the pornographic video found on their cell phones and home computer.

Colin Boyle is a registered sex offender with Criminal Sexual Conduct convictions in 2004 and 2007, one in Oakland County the other in Macomb County.

"She would come out and visit with us if a bunch of us were sitting outside," said neighbor Laura Lee Daniels. "But she would never invite us in or anything. She always made an excuse for him."

Colin Boyle had also logged into a child porn website, according to investigators. Both he and his wife Anngela are being held without bond. Child Protective services was caring for their children after the arrest at the family home at the Cedar Brook Mobil Home Estates off M-59 in White Lake.

Investigators had two search warrants for evidence of child pornography at the home the Boyles share, and they also had a search warrant in Lake Orion where Colin Boyle's parents live.
