Police: Instagram post may have led to home invasion

Police in Philadelphia say three armed, masked men kicked down the door of a home to steal Rolex watches and jewelry they saw pictured in one of the victim's Instagram posts. The incident happened just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday at the Brookshire Trace Apartments.

"There was somebody on his knees with his hands behind his back and here they got the guy with a gun," a witness told FOX 29.

A busted window and three tossed cell phones mark the escape route of the three suspects. According to police, the men stole a Rolex and gold chains before smashing their way through a back window. The 5 teenage victims inside the house -- all between 17 and 19 years old -- were not hurt.

The men took the victims' cell phones, but not before one of them managed to call police from the bathroom. Neighbors are shaken up, and said its a terrible way for the young victims to realize you may never know who's really watching.

"You just don't give information like that on the internet," said neighbor Mary Ann Geppert. "It's just ridiculous what people put on Facebook and everything. Just looking for trouble actually. And people must just scan it to find out, you know."

Detectives recovered two handguns from the scene, but the suspect remained at-large Sunday evening.
