Police: Fatal stabbing outside Bloomington, Minn. hotel

- A man with stab wounds was found dead in a parking lot outside a hotel in Bloomington, Minnesota Monday. 

Shortly after 12 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 3 Apple Tree Square, on a report of a subject laying on the surface lot to the east of the hotel. They found a 38-year-old man suffering from what appeared to be stab wounds to his upper torso. 

The victim was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. 

The incident remains under investigation. Police say they are not currently searching for a suspect and do not believe the public is at risk.
