MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) - Minneapolis police have released pictures of a man suspected of stabbing a woman in the chest during a robbery at a Minneapolis parking garage.

According to police, around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday the suspect approached a group of women heading back to their car in the parking garage. He pulled out a knife and stole a purse. Friends say one woman tried to "intervene" when the suspect stabbed her. The victim was listed in serious condition on Sunday.

Surveillance video captured the suspect in the elevator.

No arrests have been made.
