ONE MONTH LATER: Still no answers in murder of beloved mother, police need public's help

- 36-year-old Crystal Collins was shot and killed outside of her north Minneapolis home on July 16 on the corner of 30th and Newton Avenue. Family, friends and her three children still don’t have any answers.

Sergeant Catherine Michal says investigators need help from the community,

“The homicide investigators are asking for the help from the community because they don’t have any leads to follow up on, they’re asking for anyone to come forward so that they can have justice for this family… They need closure they just had to bury their mother… These three children no longer have the pillar of their family.”

Police believe someone knows something and say there were witnesses who haven’t come forward with information.

Anyone with information should call the Minneapolis Police Department or submit a tip anonymously by calling the MPD Tip Line at 612-692-TIPS (8477) or text "MPD and your tip" to 847411
