1 injured in crash involving a school bus in Eagan

EAGAN, Minn. (KMSP) - Eagan police are investigating a crash involving a school bus. The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday on Diffley Road.

No children were on the bus at the time of the crash and the school bus driver was not hurt. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A middle school student was in the backseat at the time of the crash and was not injured. Police say luckily the child was sitting where he should have been, because the entire front right passenger’s side was destroyed.

The roads were wet at the time of the crash, but police are not sure if weather contributed to the crash yet.
