With less than 24 hours before members from the Minnesota Nurses Association gathered in St. Paul to prepare to strike.

MNA nurses have been in talks with Allina Health since February over affordable health plans and corporate plans with out of pocket costs for employees.

MNA leaders say they expect nurses to be escorted out between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. after they "give report" to their replacements about what treatments they've assigned their patients.

The strike is scheduled to start Sunday at 7 a.m. and last a week. Nurses will picket in shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
