Musicians break world record to kick off Salvation Army bell ringing

They rang in the holiday season in record-setting fashion at Mall of America Saturday morning.

700 musicians were in the rotunda for a concert hoping to set a Guinness World Record for the largest handbell choir. The event, put on by the Salvation Army and the mall kicks off the Salvation Army's bell ringing season in the Twin Cities. Make sure to look for the famous red kettles at your local Cub Foods.
