Victim identified after Sunday night murder

Minneapolis Police are investigating a homicide that occurred on the city’s north side Sunday night.

The victim was identified as Anthony Hill-Prowell, a 28-year-old man who was shot inside his home multiple times and later succumbed to his injuries.

Around 7:20 p.m. officers responded to a call of gunshots on the 3500 block of Emerson Ave North, finding out a en route that the call was updated to a shooting. 

Once on scene, officers located Hill-Prowell inside, transporting him to North Memorial Hospital for treatment.

No arrests have been made, and police are asking for anyone with information to contact them.
