Morrison Co. seeking help in investigating hunter's death

The Morrison County sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in the investigation of a hunter’s death.

Investigators believe Terrance Brisk, 41, was shot on Monday afternoon on a wooded property northwest of Hawthorne Road and Jewel Road in Prairie Township, Minnesota, east of Little Falls.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner determined on Wednesday Brisk died of blood loss due to a gunshot wound.

Investigators are trying to determine the circumstances of Brisk's death, including the possibility that the person who shot him is unaware that they did so.

The sheriff’s office is asking nearby property owners, anyone who was hunting in the area at the time and anyone who saw an unfamiliar person or vehicle leaving or entering the woods between 2 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7 to contact the Morrison County sheriff’s office at 320-632-9233.
